What is the best way to get rid of ," silverfish"?

I have them in my bathroom and loo, do they just appear where it is damp. or can they be any where???

I had them in my flat when I moved in. I found that they had a little home in a little hole in the wall in my kitchen. I sprayed the entrance to their home with a regular insecticide. Problem solved.

We had them in our damp bathroom.

Raid Crawling Insect aerosol spray apparently work - get it from supermarkets or diy stores.

We moved out of the house not long after.
