What is the best way to get rid of a scar?

I fell about 4 months ago & cut the back of my ankle, right along the Achilles tendon. I now have a 2 inch scar. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

hmmm u know that very annoying commerical HEAD-ON!!!! apply directly to the forehead well the make another product i forget what its called but its suppose to make the scar disappear

I used mederma to get rid of mine. it worked well but its expensive but its was recommended to me by a dermatologist.

Your scar sounds like a minor one so Merderma should be fine.  It will help minimize it to ridding it.  But just remember that there is no magic cream.  

Kelo-cote is another one it is a silicone based gel that dries on your skin and helps also.  But try Merderma it is widely available at all drugstores (Rite Aid, Wal-greens, CVS, etc..) or your supermarket pharmacy will also carry it.

i got burnt when i was working in a fast food place, this was about a year and a half ago.

i still have the scar it just won't go away and it looks so ugly because its right across the top of my hand.

i've tried vitamin E oil and vitamin E lotion but none seemed to work :(

thats nothing.. i had a 17 pound tumor surgically removed from my forehead... the scar that was left behind is huge.. id rather have my tumor back. =(
