Lately I've been noticeing these tan squiggle-like patterns on my tomato plants. Do they do any real damage to the plant other than these squiggles and how can I get rid of them? I'd perferably like it to be an all-natural solution but I'm open to other suggestions. Thanks!

  1. It's really NOT worth the Trouble...The damage to the plant is Minimal, and you really DON'T want to be applying a pesticide on a plant you'll be eating tomatos from soon- anyway... (However, when the plant is DONE producing- pull the whole plant up & throw it in the Trash... -Or your leaf miner problem could be TWICE as bad- NEXT Year! :(  ).

  2. There is no insecticide that control the larvae once they are in the leaves..the only method of controlling them is to eradicate the adult insect before they bore into the leaves  and lay eggs to hatch..leaf minors come from many varieties of insects to include moths and beetles...Systemic insecticides will kill some leaf miners , however..you do not use this type of insecticide on ANYTHING that is an edible crop...
