  1. thats not typically a bad thing, but comsume alot of fatty foods.

  2. bicycle. it tones legs, butt, lower back and gets your heart rate up and it doesn't cost anything if you already have a bike, if not you can find used bikes cheap at places like salvation army.

  3. Well, I'm a guy but I had this problem too. See, I'm korean, and asians have naturally shorter legs, and so it can seem like we have more body weight in the lower part. I decided to fight this is many different ways.

    1. Keeping my diet healthy.

    Replace soda/alchohol with water

    Eat smaller portions

Increasing metabolism by eating smaller portions but more meals

    2. WALKING

    Walking helps soooo much

I lost 7 pounds from walking all over this summer.

My legs are now toned and just the way I wanted them

    3. Being active

If you can, dont drive to the store

Ride a bike, walk, run, etc.

Scientists have found that sometimes people eat because of BOREDOM.

    GO OUT AND DO SOMETHING!

  4. lower body fat as in, the lower part of the belly? or below the waist? either way...any form of cardio is the best! Physical activity gets rid of fat so stay active but don't forget to balance by eating healthy

  5. go to http://www.speedyslim.com

I know someone who went on this diet and lost A LOT of weight really fast. The best part is, is that it is cheap. Good luck!

  6. The best way to lose weight and become healthier is:

Eat as much watermelon as you possibly can. Reduce the amount of junk you eat (i.e: chocolate, lollies, cakes, etc.). Diet is a bigger factor than exercise, although they go hand in hand.

Go for a run/ jog each morning before breakfast or at night after dinner. Cold weather is better. Run for approximately 15mins or more. Do what suits you.

Do this and I can guarantee weight loss. Please remember that muscle weighs more that fat, so if your weight doesn’t drop (or even goes up!) within the first week, don’t be worried. After three weeks you will feel good, look good, and everything will seem so much better.

This works – I do it!! I hope you real your weight and fitness goal…!!!

  7. When you lose fat, you lose it from all over your body.

Keeping a food journal really does help.  It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days.  Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer.   Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it.   Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.

Start a weight lifting routine. It will help increase your metabolism and make you feel and look better in so many ways. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall.  Even if you can't get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house.  A couple of the links I've included explain how.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish.   Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts.  Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy.

Make your portion sizes smaller.   Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don't.  About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies.

Learn to count calories.  At your current weight and activity level, you may need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day.

Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals.  Never skip breakfast.  Include some protein in your breakfast.  It will help get you through the day.

Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices.  Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice.  You will begin to see changes in your body.

  8. Unfortunatley the best and fastest way to eliminate fat (esp off the lower body) is running. I know, I hate running, too, but it is the absolute best way.

A great thing I'm discovering though is David Kirsch. He's responsible for getting Heidi Klum back on the runway so quickly. Below are just two links to give you an idea. You can find his exercises and diets everywhere (without buying anything) - even youtube!

    Good luck!

  9. Women usually have stubborn fat around the thighs and buttocks and the best way to define them and burn that fat is first and foremost a clean diet thats that's balanced and nutritious.

Exercise is also very important.  Cardio is good but also add weight training which is the best way to target stubborn areas and define your physique.

Remember always train every muscle but add a few extra exercises and reps to those stubborn spots.

Jump squats, Lunges, squats, step ups, leg press, deadlifts are all great exercises to burn that fat.  Add two to three of these exercises to your overall routine.

Visit this page for a free sample lower body workout you can perform at home with a few dumbbells.  Or at the gym if you prefer.
