  1. Paint your apartment, they will go next door

  2. A natural way to stop them is cedar chips. For some reason they can't stand it and it is the reason you don't see them out west. Check out the link below.

  3. You can get one of those foggers if you don't plan on being around for a day.  I prefer gel baits on aluminum foil placed under the fridge and oven. It's a bit slower but you can tell if you are winning when they quit eating it.

  4. Use a bug-bomb.  Leave for a while and "bomb-em".  Works quick and thorough!  They will either die or head back to the neighbors.  To keep them gone, use professional strength poisons along baseboards and under sinks etc.  You may have to call a professional because the public cannot just buy the stuff that really works good.  I also use phosphoric acid powder in real problem areas, that has a lasting effect and keeps them from breeding too.

  5. By getting an exterminator. They are well trained and can promise to return if any are seen again.

A store bought bomb can be used as well just make sure EVERYTHING is covered and you wash dishes before and store in  the bathtub!

  6. ORTHO makes a product called "Home Defense MAX" I have used it for three years and don't ever see a roach. It is easy to use and kills all kinds of bugs. You only have to but it down twice a year. You spray it around windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, baseboards, or any place bugs might enter your house. Then go outside and the same. You won't see them any more and new ones will not be taking their place. No stain, No odor! call 1 800 225 2883 to find out more.

  7. buy roach traps, normally pack 6 in a box, v effective.
