Goof off, available at Wal-Mart.  We use to use plain old lighter fluid, it always worked well too.

a single edge razor or scraper with a blade in it will work very well. You can pick this up @ any hardware store. You can edge the glass this way too. Nice clean and simple.

OMG Goo Gone will take it right off!! They sell it at walgreens or anywhere I think that sells cleaning items...I have it and it works great for anything sticky...its awesome.

At the dealership where I work, we use a glass cleaner and single edged razor blade.. then, after getting all the glue off, we re-wet the area with the glass cleaner, and then wipe it with newspaper..

alcohol or w-d 40.  the w-d leaves an oily residue that you have to remove with window cleaner, but it works more quickly than alcohol

Make sure the glass is WET when you use the razor because glass will scratch.

Rubbing alcohol. We use it all the time in our auto repair shop. Razor blades make it too easy to scratch the glass.
