I'm driving 14 hours to Phoenix, AZ and I was wondering if there was a program or something that could show me gas stations and restaurants along the way...

  1. Just stop to use the bathroom when you need to go. Find a place along the way to eat when you are hungry. Thats the way most ppl do it.

  2. if you use Google or Yahoo maps to plot your course and then zoom in on a specific section of the map you can find near by restaurants and I guess gas stations.

  3. If you have google maps on ur fone like i do, just key word "gas" or "food" for rest stops.

GPS devices have those searches built in to the search. Just pull over and go to menu and find food or hotels, etc. It is what i did in my trip to unfamiliar Baltimore.

Some major highways have blue service signs along the way that pop up every 5-10 exits. So be on the look out.

Buy an atlas of the country like Hagstrom. They include icons for rest stops.
