We currently own a home with our friend. He now wants to buy the home from us (our portion). He also feels we should pay him money for the commissions we would incur. He is concerned that he may have to sell the home in 6 months if he lost a job or was transfered. He basically doesn't want to take any risk.

  1. he wants you to pay the realestate commission are you sure hes a friend .i agree with 1st person both sell outright

  2. Don't - sell it outright together - when things go wrong - you will be blamed.

  3. well, tough s h i t!  Life is full of risks, why should you give up 6% "just because".  He sounds like he is so afraid of getting screwed that he will s***w you.  Get a lawyer to work out this contract and don't cave in on that commission.  what a jerk!

  4. Deal with the business,Keep aside friendship
