  1. Since I just graduated from High School myself - I can most definately help you out here! :-)

    1. Try to think positive at all times, even in worse case scenarios - Remember that thinking positive can really help you out no matter how bad the situation may be.

    2. Always treat your teachers with kindness and respect. Also, always ask them if they need a hand - you never know when some kind of reward will pop up.

    3. You may or may not be involved in during and after school activities depending on what is there. However do try to get involved because Colleges like to see those things on your record.

    4. Never cut classes no matter how tempting it may be. If you think you may need to take a break from a class - see your teacher and/or guidance counselor.

    5. Make friends that you can always trust - never ones that you think and/or know that will get you into trouble.

    6. Always ask for help because even the smartest kids ask for help too you know! :-)

    7. If you feel insecure about something - talk to someone that you know can help you out. People are there to help you and not to harm you.

    8. That's all I have for now.

    10. Good Luck and stay safe! (^_^)

  2. meet new people - join clubs, talk to teachers, volunteer for stuff

depends on the teacher, but most seem to like it when you ask for help and participate in class. and in your off time see how they're doing.

be insanely involved. not only does it look good on college apps, it's insanely fun.
