Obviously it depends on the situation.

A small bottle or a small plastic flask can be hidden (never metal is it is too heavy and you may need to go through a metal detector at a concert.) in your pants.

Other ideas. You can buy "binoculars" that are fake and have a built in flask.

Another option for beer is to get these magnetic stickers that you put on the beer can and it makes the beer can look like a "soda".

put vodka in a water bottle!!!  or i like to bring lil shots of jack at the restaurants and order a coke and put a shot in my coke...they have unlimited free refills lol the best

A good way at a concert is to put 1 or 2 shots worth of vodka in ziplock bags and wear baggy pants.  Once inside put them in sodas that you buy there. Just don't get greedy or you'll get found out.

Those little bottles of vodka and things - strap them to the inside of your leg or arms with a strip of Velcro. Wear baggy trousers. Girls usually hide them down their tops, nice and easy.

Alternatively you could use pockets.
