  1. well with hand on table put it somewhere in between your thumb and forefinger. What exact hand bridge is up to you. Whatever you are comfortable with. Now your executing hand should grip the butt of the cue firmly but not tight enough to tense you up. Bend down and level yourself with table as much as possible and then take shot.

  2. In between your fore finger ans thumb

  3. Ususally its between your thumb and fore finger.  be sure you are low on the stick.  practically put your chin on the stick so you can see your angles.  a nice smooth stroke works best..hope this helps!!

  4. Place your hand on the table with all fingers touching the table. Make a loop with your index (first) finger around the cue stick. Rest the stick on your thumb. Let the stick move back and forth on your middle finger. Use chalk for a smooth movement. Do not grip the stick too tightly with your first finger, just use it as a guide. If you can practice this stance, you will get it right. Just remember when you go to shoot, all of your fingers, except the index finger that is wrapped around the stick, need to be touching the table.
