  2. You can't just jump into running mega miles. You gotta crawl before you can walk, then run. Seach the web for a program for what ever distance you want to finish. The hardest part is scheduleing free time to stick with it.

    Also, yes, music does help.

  3. Come up with a mantra like "relentless forward motion."  :)

  4. Try to forget that your running or listen to music.

  5. look at the ground. it gets your mind off of how long and how much of the run you have left. glance up every once in a while
