  1. Eat tasty salty things instead?

I like olives, pickled foods, fried chicken.  Salads are cool if you make your oil/vinegar dressings..so many store type dressings have a form of sugar in them I think.

Seeing how this is under diabetes, which I don't have real experience with, I don't know if you tolerate salt.  I've read interesting things about taking cinnamon though for insulin resistance. Not the tabletop cinnamon, though it is quite similar, they sell it inexpensively in capsule form in Walmart.  If you take medications, this cinnamon may (over?)amplify effects.  Though not diabetic, I had a condition sometimes related to insulin resistance.  I found that I like to open this cinnamon capsule and put in my coffee occassionally.

  2. I've found it to be impossible. Try making something like zucchini brownies and use splenda. i really don't think there is a taste difference and there is some nutritional value there.

  3. Ok reverse my recomondations and brake up with Mary Jane !

im sory Just try it !

    look @ Chromium Piccolate

  4. Best way to stop craving sugar is to eat sugar... voilla!  the craving is gone

  5.   BEE HEALTHY....EAT YOUR HONEY

  6. The best way is to avoid processed sugar all together.

Once one eats sugar it creates a spike then a crash .The crash causes a craving for more.

As long as you give in and eat sugar your bgl will always be on a roller coaster ride.

You are best to satisfy your sweet tooth with fruit ( even canned pineapple in it's own juice) , your spike and crash will be much less exaggerated.

  7. try substituting sweet for savoury or spicy. It works. Its a case of giving your taste buds the fireworks they are demanding.
