Everytime we go swimming there are tons of nats that bite and annoy us. We tried using the raid yard fogger and it does not work. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

  1. This is what I use for flies.  I guess it would for gnats as well.  It's called "Bronco Fly Repellent"  It is sold at feed and seed stores because it's actually made for horses.  As the label says, you can spray it on yourself, you pets, your chairs, almost on anything.  It works great.  I don't have a horse anymore but I always have "Bronco" around.

  2. As long as the grass is mowed down they will soon leave . You can also spread cedar mulch (found at hardware stores) around the area ,say perimeter of the pool . This keeps most flying ,pesky insects away such as mosquitos and nats. Also ,certain plants help keep insects at bay flies and nats ,etc... Try placing some marigolds  around the edge of the pool ,,or research for others. Many plants are used in French restaurants where there is open seating outside. Good luck

  3. Try sprinkling a box of Borax around your yard. They also make a Garlic spray, and I have heard using Cheap generic Listerine in a spray bottle works good too. Citronella will also repel them.
