I work for a rental company and recently we have had quite a few homes where roaches have become an issue. Does anyone know the most cost efficient way to get rid of these pest?

  1. If it helps any, I have found that Fantastik will kill them on the spot.  Spray one and it will be on its back in about 5 seconds.

  2. Try boric acid powder. Just sprinkle some around the roach infested area, mostly in corners, where roaches tend to travel. The roaches will eat the acid and die. Then, other roaches will eat their carcasses, still containing some traces of boric acid, and they'll also die. It's a grizzly process, but I have found it to work. Also, clearing out any traces of food is a good way to get rid of them. Good luck!

  3. Roach motels.  ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

You are gonna have to call someone because if they are everywhere, then that means they are in the walls breeding like crazy.  Gross Gross Gross

  4. Boric acid is a 100% effective method since the acid eats the body of the insect, and they can never become immune to that! It isn't instant. You just need to put the powder where they walk. Treat under cabinets, behind and under appliances, etc. Boric acid becomes ineffective over time, so it needs to be re-applied periodically, and water makes it lose potency, so using it outdoors isn't as effective.

  5. Well, one time in my house, we had a roach problem and my mom was gonna get the place fumigated. Now I didn't want that to happen so I called my friend to come over and we found the nest where they were coming from and it was outside, so fumigating wouldn't have done any good. So we took five airsoft guns, some hiking boots, and a boombox with some loud metal music, and we got rid of the nest in a cost efficient and fun way. It was kinda like an action movie. We killed the disgusting and germ spreading roaches.

    Best hour ever!!!

  6. Get a Jack Russel or another terrier because that is what there ancestors were trained to do!

  7. This goes back to an answer I gave a few weeks ago about ants. Use Borax you can find it in the laundry section of you local grocer. Also buy one of those Ketchup dispensers that you find at the hot dog stand or restaurant.

Open every electrical plate and squirt it down inside. The roaches are living inside there and the walls. What will happen is like ants they will eat the borax and it will adhere to there mandible's like glue. Eventually starving them out. Its alot safer than paying a Contracter to wipe them out. Or you could pay the contractor and use Borax as a preventive maintenance issue in the future. Let me know how it work. You can also do research on the web about Borax.
