  1. If you find something really boring and you know you will forget it. Imagine in your head something really odd or exciting around what you have to learn. As long as you keep the facts in there it actually works.

    I hated History and Geography.

    Good luck.

  2. We learn history because we do not want it to repeat .

In my prospective, you got to read history like you are one of the character inside there....

  3. i found breaking it all down into segments to work.

    1. make a detailed plan of your syllabus

    2. through each section making notes on each.

    3. when you've made the notes, go through and highlight them.

    4. rewrite the notes based on your highlighting

  4. 1 you should be in a very cool mind

2 you should readv the lesson 4-7times thoroughly

3 you should write a summary of it without seeing the text

       hope  that  it would help

  5. How are you at remembering rhymes? Kind of like, "In the year of 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue." That's called a mnemonic device (nəˈmɒnɪk). It's about the only way I can remember a lot of things. It's a bit of a challenge at first, but you get the hang of it once you find what helps you remember best. Like music, you could use tunage from your favorite songs without the original lyrics and make up your own so you can remember what the answer is when it comes time. I had an 8th grade teacher who, for the Constitution Test that we all HAD to pass; would play of all things; The Pre-Amble Song by School House Rock. It annoyed the c**p outta me, but I can still remember it, word for word. I found this web address so it can explain in more detail. Best of luck. :-)

  6. I guess you just have to study smart, no need to memorise every single bit of detail, just a main point will do. Once u get the main point, the rest will just flow normally and u'll be able to expound on it naturally.

  7. Its too simple....just make some link of the names of places and their rulers or anythng like tht along with the things nd ppl u see around u...for eg..I had to learn the names of the places where some specific thngs are found...i interlinked them..and tht helped a lot..may be u can try tht...it worked for me.

  8. I never learned about History when I was younger because I wasn't interested in it. I don't know if you mean you are learning it on your own or have to memorize it for a class. If on your own I would find the most interesting part to focus on. I find the dust bowl in American History interesting. So I would focus on that & get an idea as to when it all happened & people who are important at that time. If I do what I enjoy I remember it. I see it like a jigsaw puzzle if I put together the pieces I like then it makes the others easier & it will continue to get easier.

  9. A good way to remember it is to make it all into a movie on your head.

The more you imagine the whole thing, the easier it will be to remember.
