What is the best way to learn how to play guitar w/out a teacher , is it guitar pro 5 or there is a better way

There is no "best way" to learn the guitar.  It takes time and practice.  Learn your chords really well.  And practice with some tablature of your favorite bands.  I learned a lot of songs and about playing guitar just by using tablature and listening to the recordings.  My friends always are asking me to play for them.  My brother got some really cool advice and a beginners ebook for free at some website called http://guitarleader.com.  I looked at the ebook and it has a lot of cool info and pictures.  I think its one of those sign-up sites but I know the book was free.  You really don't need a guitar teacher or guitar pro 5 for that matter, although both can help I  think the easiest way to learn is by learning other peoples songs. It helped me a lot. Either way have fun!!
