  1. Usually I memorize them doing it over and over at hpme and at rehearsal. If you know a certain date yhat you need to be off book by,  that great. Also if it seems really overwelming, try to set goals such as "I'll have scenes 1-5 memorized by this date" and commit the learning them. When you are ready to see if you know a part, grab a friend or a family member to say the other characters' lines and look and see if you are saying yours right. Break a leg!

  2. There are a lot of ways to help remember your lines. Go over and over them again and again... make them into a song... play a little game to help you... go over them with family.... until you are saying them in your sleep.

  3. Learn them in segments. Don't try to do it all at once. It can also be better if you have a partner to practice with who can feed you lines.

  4. get some1 to read the play wit u and when ur line comes up you say it and go over and over ur lines again

  5. I am an actor by profession and i find the only way to learn lines is to act the out do them like you will on stage not only will it help your acting because you are adding movement and expression to the words it will sink in a lot quicker
