  1. here is the order of hands in poker from worst to best

high card (no matching cards in your hand)

pair (2 of the same card)

    2 pair (2 pairs)

3 of a kind (3 of the same card)

    straight (5 cards in order)

flush (5 cards of the same suit)

full house (a pair and 3 of a kind)

4 of a kind (4 of the same card)

straight flush (5 cards of the same suit in order)

royal flush (A,K,Q,J,10 all of the same suit)

  2. there is no easy way...get a list of all of them and an example of each and just start memorizing... oh and playing helps to

  3. you can purchase a card that has all the hand rankings(it is the size of a playing card).  I have seen quite a few people with them at the poker table.  Even at $5-$10limit.

  4. umm well there are these different hands that i know of in poker!

    Royal Flush

    Straight Flush

    Flush

    Straight

    Full House

    Double pair

    Pair

    now to explain each hand!

    the royal flush is the cards : 10, J, Q, K, A

and they are all the same suit. like they are all hearts!

a straight flush is just like a royal flush, but not those cards. any 5 cards in number sequence. 2,3,4,5,6...5,6,7,8,9...ect..

and again, are all the same suit.

A flush is any 5 cards that have the same suit!

4,A,6,9,3  and they are all hearts!

A straight is any 5 cards in number sequence

8,9,10,J,Q....4.5.6.7.8,, like that and they DO NOT have to be the same suit, they can all be different.

a full house is when you have 3 of the same number and a pair. example) 4,4,4,7,7........Q,Q,Q,2,2...suit do not have to be the same. as long as you have 3 of the same number and a pair.

a double pair is when you have 2 pairs in your hand and an extra card.  7,7,3,3,9......5,5,9,9,K., suits do not matter.

a pair is when you have 1 pair in your hand.. 2,2,4,7,6.....8,8,2,7,6.

thats all that i know of!

    hope this helps!
