What is the best way to locate an old friend?

How do private investigators do it? Can we access interpol? Can someone change their identity to guarantee they will NEVER be found?

If they were a true friend then you never would have lost touch with them..

But if you were casual friends and lost touch through moving etc.. there are many ways to do it without hiring a PI

First off use the computer..

one way is this..  type into the google toolbar..(if you know the city they are in or the province or state)

example: Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada phone directory

Then it will bring up a list of yellow pages (businesses) or white page listings.. you can then go to one of them and do a deeper advanced search in that area with a name etc...

Now also if you know what province or state they might be in... the license plate from his vehicle has to be listed (hoping he has one) and you can get it thru the license bureau

Then there is the post office: if you find the area they are living in.. find out the postal/zip code from that area .. now there might be many but patience is a virtue remember that.. lol

Then the phone: You can go on line to example: Canada411.ca  for one if in Canada .. etc..

then do a people search using their name only

If you know their name.. and what country they are in, its a good bet that somehow with determination you will find them...

Anyhow there are many more ways but I am tired now..lol
