First of all sir, In India you can NOT ferret out anyone. It would be an illicit act as far as our Constitution is concern.

And, the one you are looking for is known to be a Criminal then you can go ahead and report him to your local Police. If you don't seem to get any progress on this one, then AajTak can do the rest for you.

try to see online if there are Indian yellow pages or phone book. It will probably be really hard for you, since India has so many people. good luck!

Locating some one in India, more in Ahmadabad of Gujarat...?Actually, the important point is, is some one missing and being searched ..? Has anybody committed a crime and gone missing ..? Is a loved one is missing who is not now in contact with you..?

If some apparent crime has been committed, and the area where it has been committed is in India, Ahmadabad, you may lodge a FIR with the nearest Police station and the police will do the job for you.

In a normal situation, this "job" is to be done by you and the Police, Post Office & local Municipality and people may help you "informally". But be cautious that you yourself is not in 'problem' for un-solicited search ...!!
