  1. there is no best way to do it just get your *** off the computer and get outside and start moving

Honestly, the best way is to first off make sure your body has enough fuel to sustain your workout.  If you are dieting too much and running your body will freak out and hoard calories.  Second is don't do what I do....and say hey I ran x miles today I can eat those fries, or I deserve that ice cream.  That will negate all your hard work and it blows.  Just keep fueled without eating extra.

  3. I think everyone is different.  I find that "shocking" the body will jumpstart a weightloss program.  If you have been doing the eliptical for 6 months and hit a plateau, try swimming.  

    I have to agree with the sprinting idea.  Research shows that intervals of increased speed increases your metabolism long after the workout.

    Fartleks are ideal for losing weight.

  4. jogging burn sugars and carbs. walking burn calories and fat. u need both. walk for at least 30 minutes, then jog later on.

  5. Do it in intervals, like run hard sprinting for a minute, then jog for 3 minutes or so, and repeat.

    This causes the body to be tricked into the fact that it will always think it will be sprinting and causing you to burn more calories :)

  6. the above answer is partially right, you will burn calories but burn no fat,

    if you want to burn fat, you need a long low stress workout, like walking or swimming .
