What is the best way to lower your blood pressure fast?

My son is stressed out and trying to pass a physical for a job. He doesn't normally have high blood pressure, but is currently under a lot of stress. Does anyone have a quick remedy for lowering it?

  1. open your right hand and with your left hand ( thumb and index finger ) squeeze the fat between your right hand between the thumb and index finger for atleast 10 min and try to relax for that period

  3. Although not a good idea to raise or lower your blood pressure 'fast', and for the most part without medication prescribed for it, it can be difficult.

    If blood pressure is normally in the normal range and only raised a little because of stress, cardio exercise can help by releasing endorphans.  Also, ensuring the diet consists of only 2400mg sodium and drinking 8-10 glasses of water can also help as the sodium increases blood pressure in the first place.  The water just helps flush it from your system.

    Still, if his blood pressure is high your son should see a doctor to ensure it is just the stress and not some underlying problem as well.  

  4. Breath deep and slow until you calm down.....

    Then think about things, other than the stressful situation....

    People who take physicals, can tell momentary stress excitement....

  6. Just have your son relax and meditate.  Have him eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.  Do not give him drugs, unless required by the doctor.
