  1. you got the spelling right.....But the best rum to use, if you can get your hands on it, is Havana Club.....any kind of Havana club will do!

Muddle some sugar and mint leaves in the bottom of a glass.

Add as much Rum as you can handle....then add a little soda for some fizz and there you have it!

  2. Look at the Bacardi.com website.  They have how to make the BEST Mojito's that I've ever had.  They're OUTSTANDING!  And on top of that, they've got recipes for different flavors of Mojitos.

    Enjoy!

  3. i use clear rum preferably bacardi superior light and club soda and sugar then add mint and limes.

    yummers!

  4. You spelled it correctly and I hate them. That's just my personal taste. They taste like expired cough medicine to me, especially that lime one from Bacardi. Reminds me of NyQuil (aka "green lizard").

But try them on your taste buds. They are very popular.

  5. Don't make them, go to a bar in New Orleans called Napoleon's Itch and get "Mikey" the bartender to make you a blueberry one!  What a treat to drink and watch being made.

  6. This is the recipe we use in our bar:

  7. Bacardi Mojito

    Yield:  1 serving

    12 fresh spearmint leaves

    1/2 lime

2 tablespoons simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves, cooled) or 4 teaspoons sugar

    Ice

1 1/2 ounces light rum (recommended: Bacardi)

    Club soda

Lime wedge and mint sprig, for garnish

In a tall glass, muddle or mash together the mint leaves and lime. Add the simple syrup or sugar and fill the glass with ice. Add the rum and top with club soda, stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint.

    Mojito Slushy

    Yield:  4 servings

    1 cup sugar

    1 cup water

1/2 cup fresh lime juice, about 4 to 6 limes

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, firmly packed

    2 limes, zested

    1/2 cup light rum

    8 cups crushed ice

Mint sprigs and lime wedges, for garnish

In a saucepan over medium heat, add the sugar and water. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring often, until the sugar is dissolved and the syrup is clear. Set aside to cool.

Put the sugar syrup, lime juice, mint leaves, lime zest, and rum into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the ice and blend until slushy. Spoon into glasses; garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime slice.

hope this helps.               good luck and enjoy.
