  1. The best way to make easy-to-peel hard-boiled eggs is to place the eggs in a pan of cold water and add a teaspoon of salt. Place the pan on the stove and bring to a boil. Cover the pan and remove from heat and let sit for 13 minutes. Drain the eggs and immediately place in an ice bath until completely cooled.

  2. best way?

the way you said is fine

i put it in cold water then when it starts to boil i time it from then perhaps you are not timing it correctly,

you time from when you boil it, unless you are putting the egg in boiling water not cold then you time it straight away

  3. Place them in a saucepan and cover them with COLD water.  Start the flame underneath them and periodically check on them.  When you've come to a boil, boil for 15 minutes (make sure you keep this at a LOW boil - you don't want the eggs to bounce around and crack).  At the end of your 15 minutes, remove from heat and immediately run cool water into the pan to stop the cooking process.  Keep running cool water in until the whole pan has cooled down, then turn off the water and let sit for about 10 minutes to thoroughly cool the eggs.  then drain the water, peel and enjoy!

  4. you have to put it in ice cold water, and leave it to cold and you are going to be able peel it easier.

  5. just leave them there for a good fifteen, and leave then to sit in the water until the water has practically gone cold.

  6. Boil the water first, remove pan from heat, put in eggs, bring back to the boil THEN wait for 10 minutes. if they crack put in a little salt.

After 10 mins, remove from pan and run cold water over them.

  7. After you have boiled the eggs rinse them immediately in cold water.  Then take the egg and gently bash it all over on the side of the sink so the shell is cracked all over.  Then carefully peel off the skin. The shells wont damage the egg this way.

  8. Place them in a pan of cold, salted water, bring to the boil, and boil them for no more than ten minutes - more than that and you get the black ring forming round the yolk. When the ten minutes is up, put them under running cold water for a few minutes. Don't try to shell them until they're cold (unless of course you WANT to eat hot hard boiled eggs!)

  9. Pierce the blunt end of the egg with a pin. Lower it into boiling water, reduce the heat to a simmer and leave for no more than 8 minutes. Take the pan off the heat, drain off the water and stand the pan under running cold water. When the eggs are luke warm in your hand, you should be able to peel them quite easily. Roll the eggs on a hard surface to break the shells.

  10. There are dozens of ways to make boiled eggs.  Since you're hard-boiling, it's a little easier, as you don't have to time them down to the minute.  Boil water, add the eggs, and let boil for about 15 minutes.

Now comes the trick.  Have a bowl waiting in the sink, fill it with cold water, and leave the tap running (cold).  Scoop the eggs out of the pot and put them directly into the bowl, and leave them for about 5 minutes.  (You leave the tap running so that as the eggs warm the water, it gets replaced with more cold water).  What this does is cause the eggs inside the shell to shrink quickly, pulling away from the shell (since the shell doesn't change size).  This will make them easier to peel.

    Good luck!

  11. Let the water sit until it boils alot, then toss the eggs in your pot for approx. 15min, Mmmmmm....eggs

  12. boil a pan of water.

Add 1 or 2 eggs into water

    boil for about 10 min

when finnished get out of pan and eat yummmmmmmmmm .xx :):):):)
