  1. go with Godzilla's recipe, but add some Velveeta cheese.

  2. Tuna Noodle Casserole --

"This is the old tried and true, 1950's style tuna noodle casserole we remember as kids. Uses ingredients most people have on hand, especially those broken chips at the bottom of the bag that nobody wants to eat. Got to have those chips on top to be real."

    INGREDIENTS

1 (16 ounce) package uncooked pasta shells

2 (6 ounce) cans tuna, drained

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup

    1 1/4 cups milk

    1 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

    1 teaspoon crushed garlic

    4 slices processed American cheese

1 1/2 cups crushed potato chips or crackers

    DIRECTIONS

Boil pasta in lightly salted water for 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain well. Return the pasta to the pot it was cooked in.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish with cooking spray.

Mix tuna with cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic in a medium saucepan. Place pan over medium low heat, and heat through. Alternatively, place these ingredients in a microwave safe dish, and warm in the microwave.

Mix tuna mixture with pasta. Spread 1/2 of the noodles into the prepared dish. Arrange the cheese slices over the noodles, then spread the remaining noodle mixture over the cheese. Top with crushed potato chips.

Bake, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes; cook until the casserole is hot, and the chips begin to brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

  3. in the oven

  4. Tuna Pasta bake

This is a really nice, simple dish that the whole family can enjoy!

    dried pasta

    1 onion, chopped

    1 clove of garlic, crushed

    1 tin tuna

    1 tin chopped tomatoes

    mixed dried herbs or oregano

    grated cheese

Put the pasta on to cook for about 10 minutes (allow 75g-115g/3oz-4oz dried pasta per adult, and about half this per child). Drain the pasta once cooked.

Use tuna in oil if you have some. Pour a bit of the oil from the tuna into a pan and fry some onion and garlic (if you have it). Pour away the rest of the oil. Add the tuna to the pan, and heat through and mix up for a minute.

Add a tin of chopped tomatoes and some mixed herbs or oregano, and a little black pepper. Cook for 5-10 minutes.

    Add to cooked pasta.

To make it into a 'bake' pile it all into an oven dish, and top with cheese.

    Bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 C/Gas 4.

    Variations

To make it more interesting, you can add a small amount of red wine to the sauce (the alcohol boils away), you can also add a tablespoon of half-fat crème fraiche to make it really creamy.

To make it extra tasty, add in sweetcorn, onions and/or mushrooms.

If you don't like tuna, the same recipe works really well with chopped up bacon.

Adding a stock cube into the pasta water gives it a bit of extra flavour.

Instead of a bake, keep it simple and mix it all in a big bowl.

  5. HERBED PASTA-TUNA BAKE

8 oz. (2 c.) macaroni shells, cooked and drained

2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna, drained and chunked

    1/2 c. chopped celery

    1/2 c. mayonnaise

    1/2 c. milk

3 lb. loosely packed parsley (1 bunch), thick stems removed

2/3 c. coarsely chopped green onions

In greased deep 2-quart baking dish toss shells, tuna and celery. In blender or food processor, process mayonnaise, milk, parsley and green onions until smooth. Pour over tuna mixture; toss to coat. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes or until bubbly. Stir before serving. Makes 4 servings.

  6. It's best to use tuna and pasta, as I find catfood and potatoes don't work very well.

  7. Hi,Get some Tuna,Pasta, and then bake it.(in the oven, you got Blonde Hair?.).I'm Scottish so i'd like to hear your response to that, but you did leave yourself open to it,but it was honestly meant as a joke,as i don't have a clue how to even start to cook that, from scratch..Good Luck..Paul.x.

  8. dunno i cant stand tuna

  9. like a casserole?

A really easy way to make it is with cream soup. First cook the pasta, then mix together the pasta, a can of cream of mushroom (or cream of chicken) soup, peas and tuna and bake it in the oven.

  10. think this is the site i used in the first year of uni

    good luck

  11. I do mine on top of the stove, but you could bake it after you put it together.

    3 cans tuna

    1 cup frozen peas

2 box macaroni and cheese Kraft (or 1 pound pasta cooked and add your own cheese)

    1 onion small diced

    sprinkle with shredded cheese

if you want to bake it, bake at 350 for about 20 min.

  12. This is what I usually do: cook some pasta and fry up an onion and a red/green pepper while oven is heating up. Then in an oven proof dish: add cooked pasta, fried onion, tin of tuna, tin of sweetcorn/kidney beans (or any other tinned pulse) add a tin/jar of pasta sauce. give it all a stir to mix it up nicely, then pour either homemade cheese sauce or packet/tin/glass jar version on top. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top of this. Cook in the middle of oven for 45mins at 200degree C. Basically you can throw any veg in instead of the tuna eg courgettes. or leave the onion/sweetcorn out. Just make it up according to what's in your cupboard. If you don't have any ready made pasta sauce, then add a tin of chopped tomatoes, some ketchup, mixed herbs and salt & pepper for seasoning.

  13. my families fav dinner.   cook pasta.  chop onion, mushrooms, canned tuna chunks. frozen sweetcorn.   blitz can ratatouille provencale. drain pasta. mix all ingrediants into ovenproof bowl. add cheap jar of pasta sauce. or chopped tin tomatos.  sprinkle on grated cheese. bake in oven or microwave until hot

  14. boil the pasta

put the tuna in a saucepan with some sauce and let it heat up

when the pasta is boiled put it in a dish and cover with the sauce and tuna

    grate cheese on the top

tip... put salted crisps on the top for crispy bits!

bake in oven till cheese melts

    hope it helps

    Xx

  15. First, you have to pre-cook the pasta, in boiling water.

Combine in a baking dish with chopped onions & celery.

Mix in a couple of cans of tuna drained, with mushroom soup.

Sprinkle with grated cheese, cheddar or mozzarella are good.

Bake in 400F oven for 30 minutes, until bubbly & golden on top.

Cover with foil to prevent burning the cheese, if you like.
