I have already purchased it and some rubber washer nails. Should it be nailed on the V for best results and no leaks?

  1. Rick C is absolutely correct. But, I suggest you take the nails back and get hex head screws with neoprene washers. Use a punch to make the hole, and use a variable speed drill with adjustable torque to prevent overtightening the s***w and damaging the washer and the panel.

In the laps s***w through the second V, that is the V that is farthest away from the seam.

    Good Luck!

  2. Go to the lumber yard and ask for wiggle mold. That will help a lot to install it. Once you see what it looks like you'll know what to do with it.....

  3. No you nail it from the top..the ridge..not down in the groove...You will get leaks after some time putting them in the V(the valley)

  4.                       Nail here I

                                       \I/

                              Highest point

  5. Nail through the top of the V. Tap the top of the V with the edge of your hammer head to put a small dent in the top of the ridge so you can start your nails without the nail slipping off the ridge and beating up your fingers. Also don't nail the ridge that will be overlapped by the next sheet, Nail through both sheets when you have it in place, Good luck
