  1. You need a group that is there already, school, church, scouts etc.

Set a date and location, then get some co-captains to get the word out, get commitments for goods.

You must be able to account for everything (i.e. one cake at a dollar a slice is worth $8.00 if it yields eight slices); you can also see if local bakeries want to get involved.

  2. go get you a card bord or a pece of wood and write somthing saying ''bake sale'' l

do it mad big in red ink or marker

and go get a stand and put your cookies on dem and how much

  3. The churches in my community take turns sponsoring the food pantry. When it is our month, we are handed a brown paper bag with the Sunday worship bulletin. Stapled to the bag is a list of items that the pantry needs. (For instance, this month they said they have enough vegetables, but need peanut butter, jelly, pasta and canned tuna, chicken, spam or other meat.)

The parishioners bring the bag back the following week with the food in it, and the volunteers take the bags to the food pantry.

  4. 1) Select a leader that has excellent organizational skills and be able to list responsibilities.

    2) Find volunteers that are willing to donate their time and help the cause. Volunteers can help bring baked goods to donate for the sale. They can also help give friends and family details of the sale so that more money can be earned.

    3) Making a list of items that each person is bringing is a good suggestion so the three people don't bring the same item to the bake sale. Make sure there is a variety of items for the people to purchase.

    4) Be sure to find a good location. People usually like to put their bake sales in front of a local store in their town that people most often go to.

    5) Be sure to present your causes at locations around time. Maybe advertise it in your local newpaper and at the local businesses.

Churches are often very interested when it comes to helping a good cause. Therefore they are often raising funds for programs and some even do food drives. You might talk to your local church or talk to the one you attend about your idea and maybe they could help you start your food drive and possibly turn it into something bigger!
