I'm extremely shy. I'm the one you find in the back corner of the room. I am alright around a group of people I know, but add strangers to the mix and I clam up. When I am in public I feel like the loneliest person in the world. I just don't know what to say to people I don't know.

  1. Expose yourself in a public place.

  2. dunno

  3. go to the mirror and shout things out about your self

go to the club and start dancing by your self and people will start watching you and then you will feel confortable with your self and then start building confidence

  4. that's how i am what i do to help me is spot someone you know and casually walk up to them and start asking them something like how they've been or if you don't know anybody walk up to a group of people who look nice and just stand there and when they talk about a topic you know or like say something then you'll get into it and maybe make some new friends it works for me

  5. Just talk who cares if you say something stupid. Also, what I do is, I start conversations with random ppl (usually female) they might even be old. Not just small talk, but something different thats meaningful. I also say "Hey" "Hi" "What's up" to random girls hot or not.

  6. You can always start simple by asking what time it is. Then afterwards, you can introduce yourself, briefly talk about yourself, and then listen to whomever, once you have broken the ice, you should feel alot more relaxed and social.

  7. The best way to overcome shyness is by doing whatever it is that makes you shy.

Go up, say "Hi, I'm (name).  How are you this evening?  Let them answer.  Then ask what kind of work they do, how they know the people involved with whatever the social event is, etc.
