  1. read to her go and plant some things in a garden let her explore the sites of nature let her touch things with her hands to help her when she gets older to hold things better

  2. talk to her alot

let her listen to a lot of music classical music that is

introduce her to an instrument like a piano

    READ TO HER

reading help me so much when i was little i was in the 2nd grade reading on a 6th grade level just because even before kindergarten my father was teaching me how to read

most of all just have a lot of affection towards her

but the music thing is priceless

you need to introduce her to music

  3. Human toddlers, like any young mammal, learn a lot through playing.  Your daughter will become smarter the more you play with her and let her manipulate things in her environment.  Minimize time spent watching videos, even educational ones.

  4. Expect good behavior :) Get her to help you clean up now, she's able to. Time outs are a must, as well as some educational tv. I refused to let my daughter watch sesame street before last week, she's 19 months old(I had read that watching it really early can actually delay devolpement and learning letters because it's not usually in order). We've been watching for a week now and she knows all the characters, and learned a bunch of letters and numbers already, lol. We are usually gentle with my daughter, but we expect her to behave and it works a lot of the time. I constantly get compliments when we go out about how well behaved she is, which amazes me, lol. We also don't spoil her a lot, the last time she got a new toy that cost above a dollar was a few months ago when we moved and she got a grocery cart and pink toddler legos :) Good luck!

  5. Every child is unique, so there's isn't one "right way" to teach a child, but there is some ways to encourage a child to be all that they can be.

    1. Talk to them as much as you can. Don't use cutesy words or baby them. If your daughter says "Look at dogie", don't correct her but say "Yes, honey there's a dog". Just reply the right answer.

    2. Play with her. Children learn a lot while playing. They learn about animals through playing with a farm set(like what the animals look like and the sounds they make), playing house, megabloks, puzzles and even finger painting.

3.Showing interest in what she enjoys. If your daughter shows interest in dance and says "Mommy look!", encourage it! Kids take cues from what they parents think it's good. If they don't feel like their parents care about it, it hurts their feelings, and they lose interest.

4.Stock up on books. You can read along with her, so that she sees what word makes what sound, and she can take the books and "read them " to herself, which is good for her. Pretend reading is a step closer to actually reading and a part in language development.

My friend who is an occupational therapist told me that play-dough is an excellent way for young children to develop a lot of their abilities, through manipulation , playing with texture and learning about shapes and colors.

Remember that kids all develop at their own pace and as long as they are hitting the main milestone for their age, all is well. Most kids catch up or slow down in develop and are at the same place around 8 years of age. I think that you are already helping her development , seeing that you are even asking this question.

    Continue with the good work:)

  6. Read to her, let her explore her environment, help her understand always talk to her so she can put logic together for herself.

  7. talk 2 her all the time she will learn so much

  8. Play!  Engage her in active play and activities... Talk to her in complete sentences and repeat what you say OFTEN!  Read to her in fun tones and sing songs.... Take pictures of her whenever possible... Moments are fleeting and time rests for no one!
