  1. lol thats an odd question just listen

  2. Put a thumb-tack on your seat, not the teachers!

  3. mae sure you are taing notes as that will force you to pay attention and participate whenever you can and be thinking"if i were called on, could i answer anything she/he has said" if so good job, ifnot ask questiions ad take more notes and keep your head off the desk!

  4. I don't know what grade or course your in when you

    can  not focus.

Do you like the subject?  If not, you need to consider

what mark do I want  when the term is done.  Did I pass?

It will come down to choice, How committed am I

to get my work done.  Get yourself a notebook to

take notes if needed. Could you pair up with a

friend in the same course to keep you motivied.

So later you two can review and or keep each

other motived.  Lead by example, don't play

into the others and check with your teacher on

some helpful tips to get your work done and in

on time. You can do it, just build it into your

    routine.

  5. well i always try to take notes. if u r having trouble because i start to fall asleep like me then answer a question or read out loud for some reason it works.  also try not to sit near ur friends cuase they will distract u.

  6. ok i go through this problem too..but what i do is whenever u feel that u r not focusing or if the topic is boring...just focus on the lips of the teacher..and actually LISTEN to what he or she is saying. You will get ur focus back and actually find the topic to be interesting

  7. Sit in the front row.

  8. Give yourself time to wake up in the morning: stretch and drink a glass of orange juice to convince your body that it's getting-up time.  On bad days, I drink a cup of coffee, too.

When you're in class, minimize distractions from friend, magazines, or anything else... sit in the very front if you have to.  Knowing that the professor is watching you will also make you try to act more alert.  The best way to stay focused is to take notes because it makes your brain pay attention to what the prof is saying and makes you think about it.  Even if its a prof that's good about writing things on overheads or on the board, take notes from his/her verbal commentary--even if the notes don't do any good helping you study later, at least they kept you alert during lecture.
