  1. talk to a Navy recruiter first (I am one) to find out about the P.S.T. (pre-screening test): 500 meter swim in 12:30 or less, 50 sit-ups, 42 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, mile and a half run in 11:30 or less. If you've already been to MEPS, already in DEP and already got SEAL in your contract, then all I could advise is keep working on the P.S.T., and I've heard a retired SEAL say many times.... "you're never ready for BUDS, it's got to be an inner drive, either you'll make it or you won't".

  2. -Follow the BUD/S Warning Order

-Push yourself to achieve competitive scores.

-Never get complacent with your fitness level and drive.

-Keep your head down and your ears open at BUD/S.

    Good luck.

  3. Run like h**l

This site has a lot of good info on it.  My suggestion is to follow it strictly.  Make sure you eat healthy too.  Get swimming lessons.  Even if you already know how to swim, it would be a good idea to basically learn how to breathe underwater.  Also, there is a book called To Be a U.S. Navy SEAL.  It has a lot of pictures and gives you a good idea of what you are getting into.

Running and swimming will need to become second nature to you.  Once you enter BUD/S you could be running somewhere around 30 miles a day.  Whatever you do, though, I don't think anything will prepare you for h**l Week.  If being a SEAL is your ultimate goal in life, and you will stop at nothing to achieve it, you should make it through BUD/S.

Good luck on you journey to the SEALs.  HOOYAH.
