  1. Walk on your heels, trying to get your toes to point as far up as possible. Do this for oh, I don't know, 20 yards?? Maybe just 10 yards. Then walk on your tip-toes for the same distance. Then you could also run backwards as a drill, as someone already mentioned.


  2. stretch your calf's out before you run and make sure you don't run on your toes

  3. get good running shoes

    ice

    and do drills-like backwards running
