What is the best way to price menu items for an ethnic fast food restaurant?

other than looking at the competition, I read on the net that a good way would be to multiply raw materiel cost for each item by 3 and the result should be approximately the price I should ask for...

  1. Start high and slowly lower the price to where people buy what you have, meantime stay in business with a few old standards.

    Most businesses price things based on what the market will bear, and it's easier to lower prices than to raise them


  2. add tax by how uch it weighs.
