What is the best way to produce alpha waves?

I'm going to change the question a little bit to read 'easiest' way to produce alpha waves.

Get a binaural CD from either Kelly Howell or Dr. Jeffrey Thompson.

If you're in a hurry and all you want to do his hit alpha immediately. That is easy, look straight ahead, open your eyes wide, while keeping your head level look up as far as you can. Keep your eyes open and looking up, within 30-60 seconds you should start to have alpha spikes.

If you are not in a hurry, forget the technical stuff, male or female this is just as effective. Dim the lights in the bathroom, fill the tub with your favorite non-alcoholic suds and light a candle.

Next time you ask the question give the reason for it and someone can tailor the answer. For example there are several  self-hypnotic things you could do without leaving your chair.

If you want to do Remote Viewing, Reiki and other modalities they all have their frequencies.

My disclaimer would be that not all things work for different people, you may need to experiment (non-drug of course).

Have fun, the mind can do things that your parents, teachers and preachers have expressly told you it can't and you don't have to sell your soul or any nonsense like that.

Since alpha brain waves are a measure of a particular kind of brain activity and not an indication of any special sort of ability I wonder what your purpose of producing alpha brain waves would be.
