What is the best way to promote Avon?

I just started selling Avon and was wondering the best way to promote it. I went down to my local mall today and left book with many businesses. Is there any other way?

Friends and family!! Give your books to all of your friends and family members.  Also, if you have kids, distribute the books to their friends'/classmates' mothers.  Do you work? If so, distribute the books where you work!

If you have samples of any products, pass those out as well!

These are just a few suggestions; I hope they're of use!

Also, let your neighbors know you're selling Avon!

Do you go to church? If so, promote Avon to fellow church-goers.

With the books that you pass out, also put a neatly written/typed Post-It style note on each that says, "Save your gas and time--order from me!" There is a certain convienence to having your own Avon rep. in that you don't have to drive anywhere to get your makeup. Also, try posting your Avon services on Craigslist (it's free) in your local area(s). Wherever you frequent most, for example, the local gas station, post office, etc.-- be sure to give them a book and let them know that you are now selling Avon if they ever would like to purchase any of those products.

My advice. Stop selling Avon.

Start/do something else. It's not going to get you anywhere.

Everybody feels pressured to buy products when they meet an "representative". It's easier to just go at the mall or online and buy anything you want.
