What is the best way to protect my hairline while wearing a lace front wig?

  1. First make sure you have a good fitting lace unit.  A lot of first timers purcahse instock or ready to ship units just to try out a lace wig.  If you do this, please make sure the lace unit is fitting right outside your hair line.  I give a little lee way for side burns, but other than that, your natural hairline should be inside of the lace so glue will not go into your hair.  When you hear people complaining about there hairline coming out, its normally because the adhesive used has taken out the hair. So make sure yours fits correctly!

    Next protect the skin around your hairline with a skin protector found in common lace wig kits.  I like to go to CVS or Walgreen's and buy a liquid band aid, this works as an excellent skin protector and also keeps the lace wig application holding longer which ultimately, keeps your hairline from coming out from repeated applications that do not stick.
