Hey...The Best way to use Internet without any security is use Linux OS..(i.e, Fedora or Ubuntu)..As no virus are developed to infect Linux... If u like to use internet in Windows Just use some security related software....i ve listed some securities..

I think installing an Anti Virus such as AVG or Kaspersky would help you to protect your PC.but don't install the anti spyware of kaspersky because it blocks everything!and try not to go to the websites that have virus inside.

The best way is to stay alert, be aware and have a safe surfing.  Better use another browser, alternative to IE because most attacks come from IE's active X.  you can use either firefox, opera or maxthon (which uses IE but much better because it is like firefox on IE but with added security features).  anyway, to protect your pc you can use one antivirus and a good firewall and you may add an antispyware or an antimalware program or one good internet security suite.  A good combination is avira antivir premium with comodo firewall pro or online armor free or if you want a security suite, go with kaspersky internet security suite.

I think a good guideline is to use an antivirus with real-time protection (AVG/Avast/AntiVir), a HIPS (such as ThreatFire) and several on-demand scanners (Superantispyware and Malwarebytes Antimalware). Remember to turn on Automatic Updates and use Filehippo Update Checker or Secunia Software Inspector to keep your programs up to date. Also, if you're using Internet Explorer consider switching to Firefox or Opera, both of which are faster and more secure.
