What is the best way to put medals on a letterman's jacket?

I've earned a couple medals this past track season and i would like to put them on my letterman's jacket. What I've heard the most is to use fishing line, but i was wondering if there was any other way out there.

i've never seen anyone put medals on a letter jacket. that just sounds really weird...and i think that would make it heavy if you put on alot. plus i have no idea how you would put them on in the first place.

i think you should hang them on your wall or a bulliton board thats what i do, i like seeing them hanging in my room and if you would put them on a jacket they would kinda be hidden unless you wear it alot.
