iPod accepts mp4 video detail as follow

You need a converter to help you convert the DVD to MP4 format.And then transfer the video that be converted to iTunes.

The Pod has a special button that releases a DVD Tray. It will grow big then when u press insert it will shrink the DVD and the hidden tray inside the Ipod.
