What is the best way to put out a cigar and save it for later?

1.  Knock the ash off

2.  Hold the lit end against the bottom of the ashtray

3.  Once cigar is out, cut off about 1/2" (6mm) from formerly lit end

If you already smoked the cigar more than 1/2 way, it will be significantly stronger when you relight it.

Make sure you blow the smoke OUTWARDS before putting it down to go out

Put it out, and then when you are about to smoke it again, get that cigar cutter and only cut off that end.
