What is the best way to raise money for a early childhood special needs playground for a non profit school?

My son attends a non profit preschool for children with special needs. They are in desperate need of a new playground facility that all the students can enjoy. Funds are limited, so money needs to be raised. How do I go about raising the $50,000 needed?

i am getting my degree in ECE right now, and only have one year to go, but besides that, we just learned about corporate funding and money problems, and we were told that with fundraisers and alot of finactial support from big business's are always good, i mean go to big business's or Corporations around that area and tell them the situation and i bet you would get a donation, all the equipment in  the playground at my school was donated, so i am sure that someone would donate. Get together with the director of the school, and have a meeting about it.
