  1. Practice after school for 1 hr. Practice serving with teammates.

Then you have the rest of the hours for school homework.

Hope you win all  your games by practicing more to become the best.

  2. Conditioning will be the key to being successful. Depending on the position you play other additional workouts will be added. To condition you should try and run regularly, after homework, and eat right. Drink plenty of water or you'll get muscle cramps. If you plan on hitting, lift weights for your arms, and try and increase your vertical jump by doing squats. If you are going to be a setter then try and develop strong fingers and practice against a wall. While practicing, aim for a certain spot and try and get the ball there every time. Also, as a setter you would be responsible for getting to the ball every second hit, so try and increase your speed while conditioning. If you are going to try and be a Defensive Specialist, or Libero, you will have to increase your speed and reaction time because balls will be hit at you most all of the time. I suggest squats and line drills for this one. Passing is what you would mainly do at this position, so practice that against the wall as well. Good Luck, but remember that school work comes first!

  3. I used to do a little bit of running some sprints and so on nothing long distance and I used to take a rack of volleyballs and practiced overhand serving across the v-ball net on to an empty court until I could pick a place on the opposite side of the court and hit it every time I had the best overhand serve in the entire school and I was only in the eighth grade. Also taking a v-ball and setting and returning against a wall as many times as I could. It helped with my skills and my balance and hand- eye co-ordination. Best of luck and have fun!!

  4. BREAK YOUR TIME UP LIKE ONE HOUR ONE HOMEWORK AND ONE HOUR ON PRACTICE

  5. Practicing serving, bumping, spiking, setting, and so on. Running a lot will also be helpful and jumping jacks. But the most import things are to practice your moves and also, say if you try to serve and you miss, you should run because you missed and everytime you miss, you run and you will learn not to mess up and do better. You could also lift weights so your arms and strong enough to spike and so forth. Eat healthy will be good too. But, you should always do schoolwork first.

  6. my schedule during volleyball season was to go to school and after that go to practice and on the way home or when i get home first thing i did was homework!! but if practice was late to getting started i would go ahead and start it and why i was waiting on my ride to get there to pick me up !!! and i stayed after school on game days to do my homework so it would be done before the game and finish it w/  jv's game was over
