What is the best way to recieve a lot of money for graduation?

i am graduating this summer and would like to know how to milk my relatives for their money.

Have a graduation party, then people dont usually show up without a gift of some sort.

best thing to do is work hard, get a good degree and earn your own money after you graduate.......... it's what sensible people do, rather than keep trying to sponge off their relatives!

We Sent out Announcements to every possible person we knew and inside include information about the Grad Party.

We rented a Pavilion at a park where we could BBQ and had easy stuff like chips, potato salad , beans etc.

Everyone enjoyed it and it was a good turn out.

You can never guarantee how much people will give as a gift.

This year money is tight and gifts will be less in poor economic times, however, with the TAX REBATES going out at grad time (MAY) you might get lucky....!!!
