Try the long handled dust and cobweb remover below. It works great on ceiling fans, too!! : )

Get on a ladder with the vacuum hose.  Or try washing with a jet stream or power washer.

use a garden hose and a sprayer set on "jet".

If that's not enough, try a spray and wash that works off hose pressure. See the link ... there are other brands.

A good stiff broom is a pretty good bet--then you won't get the wood wet. If that doesn't work, a professional with a power washer should do the trick.
