  4. Nail polish  remover and  cigarette lighter fluid always worked for me.

  7. Remove the paper bit of the sticker then spray the sticker with hairspray and the sticky will come straight off.

    Sounds mad but it does work.

  8. Razor blades can leave scratches even in glass.  Use nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol.

  11. The best product is called GooGone, available in a 2 oz plastic bottle with a dispenser tip.  It will usually remove most any adhesive residue.   Another simple process, is to use a dab of mayonese rubbed into the spot, wiped off, then the glass is cleaned with regular glass cleaner.

  14. razor blade...seriously...for both mirrors and windows. i worked at a car dealership and we used razor blades to get the 'stickies" off the windows from the msrp sticker when we sold the car. just hold the blade as close as possible to the mirror and it'll work great!

  18. Dip a q-tip in cooking oil..smear the oil over the residue. Then clean the mirror with hot soapy water.

  25. Just did this this morning.  Soak a cotton ball with fingernail polish and apply the cotton ball on the spot for several minutes.  Works great!!!
