What is the best way to roll or fold the meat for a Meat Tray for a wedding reception. Rolling or folding?

  1. I say roll- that way it is easier to pick up with the tongs.


  2. folding so it can be placed on a roll with out having to mess with it

  3. Rolling is best.You can get more meats on the trays and it's easier for picking up with tongs. I also think it looks nicer and can be garnished easier with fresh parsley etc.

  4. Depends on what kind of meat you are serving.  I'd roll deli slices of roast beef, turkey, and ham.  For really thin cuts, such as prosciutto, I'd fold.  Salami can be rolled or folded depending on the type and size of the slice.

  5. Personally, I think rolled looks fancier, but really, no one remembers these things at a wedding.
