I wanted to start saving some money for the kids but don't know what is the best way to do so... Talking to a banker doesn't seem to help much, maybe someone out there had good experience with this subject would maybe give me a heads up... Thanks.

  1. my uncle bought an additional house when his first kid was born...and rented it out, and by the time his daughter was 10 the house was paid off...so after that point all the rent money went in a saving account for her educations...u do the math for 8 years x 12 months x the rent.

i knw its not easy and that simple but if u can afford it i think its a really good deal.

  2. Try bonds or just a simple savings account. Or CDs, not the music kind, the money kind...lol. Here are 2 websites that might offer you additional help. Good Luck!!!!

  3. Start a new account at the bank for college funds. You can have a percentage of every deposit that goes directly into that account.

    That might help out.

  4. I spend a lot of time cutting corners and deal hunting. I actually just wrote an article about easy ways to save money. I use them because you don't really miss anything.
