I live in an apartment with a pre-made slot for the a/c in the wall. The a/c is already tilted (used a level). It doesn't stick out of the wall freely, it just fits inside this big slot with slits at the end for the water to run out of.

  1. Tilt it at a slight angle & gravidy will do the rest.

  2. Are you talking about condensation?  It sounds like you have a plugged drain line or a rusted drain pan.

  3. something is causing the water to not drain out the back.  it's probably tilted forward too much.  try to lean it back a little.

  4. If you're talking about a window a/c, they're supposed to be tilted somewhat so the water drains out the back.

  5. you have the air conditioner sloping inward instead of outward.

put a level on top of the air conditioner on the outside and make sure the bubble on the level shows at least a half of bubble that the air conditioner is facing downward.  it's a common mistake that's usually easy to fix.  make sure someones holding the air conditioner at all times so it cant' fall out while making this adjustment.

MAKE SURE THE DRAIN HOLE IS NOT STOPPED UP FIRST.

    good luck to ya

  6. all you have to do is reposition the air conditioner in the window so that it is tilted back not forward!
