  1. i would say go to carmax.com and look and figer what you want  to get

  2. If you use Autotrader you can create a login ID and save your search criteria.  Say you are looking for a car that is not older than 4 years old, automatic, less than 65,000 miles, Honda or Toyota, Red, Automatic transmission, 4 doors, within 25 miles of your house.  Once you choose all these options you can save your search and every time a car that meets this criteria is advertised you'll get an email with a link to the ad.

  3. Carsoup.com

  4. siftin.com looks at all top online and local resources

  5. I just found an unknown site called feebe.com

    it tells you every car's private party value, then you don't have to waste time to dig them out. And they compute the % difference between asking price and private party value. And you can sort the cars by saving %, should be a very useful tool

    below are txt from feebe.com 's about page

    How would you usually decide which car to buy?

        * 1) check the available used car advertisements from Craigslist, Edmunds or any other internet web sites:

        * 2) pick one from hundreds of available ones,

        * 3) go to kbb or any other evaluation sites,

        * 4) fill maker, model, package, year, millage ....... all the information to get the according market value

        * 5) compare the sales price with market value and decide if this is a good deal or not

        * 6) repeat step 2-5

        * 7) repeat 1 to 6 for next web site... until you are tired, choose the best deal you can get and buy it

    --How long does it take to lock in one deal? From one day to one month usually...

    --What can we do for you? Integrate all above steps into ONE!!! You tell us what you want, we point you the best deal! It is simple yet powerful, as you expected, as we promised!
